AMORPHIS: Helsinki Gig To Be Webcast
January 17, 2007The December 30, 2006 AMORPHIS gig at Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland will be shown several times on Welho Dina cable TV (available in Southern Finland) as well as via webstream from the Dinahomepage. AMORPHIS will play four shows in Finland in April. The dates are as follows:

AMORPHIS will enter Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland later this month to begin recording its new album for a late spring/early summer release. Mixing duties will be handled by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) in late February at Finnvox studios.
AMORPHIS has been confirmed for this year's installment of the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 2-4 in Wacken, Germany.
AMORPHIS' latest album, "Eclipse", was issued in a limited vinyl edition in a deluxe gatefold sleeve by Black Lodge Records under worldwide license from Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Far from the Sun" was recorded at Sonic Pump studios with engineer Nino Laurenne (THUNDERSTONE). The production duties were handled by the band and Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH) for vocals. The mixing was taken care of by Karmila (who previously worked with the group on their "Am Universum" CD) at Finnvox in Helsinki.
